Driving in cities . . .
Driving in the cities we were in is a "whole 'nother ballgame" & it's not for the "faint-at-heart"! Lanes seemed to be narrower, cars were closer together, everyone continually swerved in & out of lanes, & if you have 3" space . . . go for it. Motor cyclists & scooters are probably 1/4th of the vehicles & they seem to use the painted lane lines as "their lane" between cars. (Remember, 3" space between you & the next guy is enough!) There is NO blasting of horns - never! Tolerance & patience is in amazing abundance as everyone just moves along together . . . "cutting off in front of you" is the norm & accepted in a relaxed manner by all. I think everyone drives with the idea that if someone is ahead of you (in another lane, & IF people even stay in lanes), that those other drivers will probably/most likely, all of a sudden, pull right in front of you ~ by a 3" (well, maybe 6" on the ruler) space :) !!! ~ just SO close. Sometimes some drivers use signals.
